MEMBERSHIP

Saratoga Community Housing is a grassroots non-profit membership organization supported by a foundation built by our members and our community partners. Our membership is the heart and soul of our organization. We will accomplish our mission by working together to build strong and sustainable communities for future generations. As a member of Saratoga Community Housing we ask you to support our mission:

Stewardship of our land to build
affordable communities for generations to come

As a member you can be as involved as you would like… whether you attend meetings, volunteer your time/services, attend our events, or simply renew your yearly membership, your contribution is important and valuable.

To be considered an active regular member you must fill out a membership form that states your support of Saratoga Community Housing’s mission, pay the annual dues of at least $15 per year, and become oriented to the community land trust model.

Annual Membership Levels

- Individual Membership $15
- Family Membership $25 - $49
- Community Friend $50 - $99
- Community Builder $100 - $499
- Community Supporter $500 - $999
- Community Visionary $1,000 - $4,900
- Community Benefactor $5,000 +

Note: any amount given in addition to the $15 or $25 membership dues is considered a donation. Saratoga Community Housing is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

As a Regular Member of Saratoga Community Housing, you are entitled to:

  • Member Representation - provide input, vote on matters related to the organization, and nominate & elect Board Members (become a Board Member.)
  • Attend Meetings and Events - you’ll receive periodic newsletters, annual reports, notification of membership meetings, and invitations to all events.
  • Committee Participation - participate on various committees, if you have the interest and availability this provides a “great hands” on experience.
  • Neighborhood Work Parties - join a neighborhood cleanup day, assist others with planting their flower beds, or build trails in an open space (these opportunities will vary based on projects.)
  • Celebrations - join our celebrations as projects are completed.

Invite your friends & family to join... a larger membership base will result in a higher level of participation so we can better serve the needs of the greater community.
